Agreement
Membership agreement.
Effective September 10, 2026.
Who we are.
Matthew Harrison, doing business as SF MENS operates this site and membership. SF MENS is the name we use in public. Questions go to hello@sfmens.com. San Francisco.
You must be eighteen.
Membership is for men eighteen and older. If you are not, do not apply.
What you are joining.
You apply. We read it and reply, with pricing. Membership is not formed until we accept you in writing and you pay the amount we quote. Until then this page still applies to the application, the site, and any evening you attend.
Membership includes virtual experiences through the app, monthly local evenings, quarterly bloodwork with a clinician, and in-person field experiences. The mix for a given quarter is the domains you named when you applied.
The waiver.
Before your first field experience you will sign a liability waiver. We will send it in advance. You will not be on the trip without it.
Field experiences are multi-day trips in wild country. They can include hiking, load carrying, cold water, weather, navigation, and, on some trips, hunting and firearms. You can be hurt or killed. The waiver is how you accept those risks in writing, for yourself, so the other men on the trip are not carrying them for you. It is not a surprise at the trailhead.
Cancellation.
The first field experience is fully refundable if it is not right, including after it ends. Write us. There is no form to argue with.
After that, write us at least fourteen days before an experience and we will credit what you paid for that experience toward a later one. Inside fourteen days we keep the cost, unless we cancel, or you send a note from a clinician that you cannot go.
If we cancel an experience we refund that experience or move you to the next one, your choice.
You can end membership by writing hello@sfmens.com. Unused experiences after the first are credited or refunded as we agree in that reply. We can end membership if you put other men at risk, break the law on a trip, or refuse the waiver.
Health data.
Bloodwork is health data. We do not draw it ourselves. The clinician and the laboratory are named to you in writing before the first draw. Results move as described on the Privacy page.
The site and the app.
The website and the member app are provided as they are. We work to keep them up. We do not promise they will always be up.
